WNDE Expands Valuation Services
Candace Huie, a Tax and Advisory Services Partner at White Nelson Diehl Evans (WNDE), has earned a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) credential from the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts enabling WNDE to expand its valuation services. The CVA credential indicates that Candy has attained expertise in business valuation, in which the analyst considers a variety of complex factors to determine the value of a business enterprise.
“I’m excited to have earned this credential, and look forward to using this expertise for the benefit of our clients,” remarked Candy.
To earn her CVA credential, Candy had to undergo an intensive training and testing process. She must be recertified every three years to maintain her credential.
Valuations are performed for a variety of reasons, including mergers and acquisitions, company buy sell agreements, gift and estate tax/income tax transactions, fairness opinions, transfer of ownership and compensation issues, generally accepted accounting principles compliance and charitable contributions.
In addition to Candy, WNDE partner Thomas Kretschmar is experienced in valuations as well.
Candy is a graduate of Cal State Fullerton who has spent her entire career with WNDE. Other areas of expertise include tax planning and compliance, with a focus on real estate partnerships, small businesses and non-profits. She serves large, middle-market companies located in Orange County and the Inland Empire.
Candy is also a professor and serves in a leadership role at Irvine Valley College. She lives in Corona with husband Raymond, and has two children.
