WNDE Organizes Carnival for Boys & Girls Clubs of Garden Grove
Thirty staff members from White Nelson Diehl Evans (WNDE), including partners Gary Belz and Tracy Tran, participated in a carnival that the firm organized for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Garden Grove. The WNDE team members set up and staffed 15 stations at the carnival, including the potato sack race, milk bottle knockdown, ping pong number toss, ring toss, three-legged race and animal balloons, a favorite for many children. About 120 children participated in the carnival.
“It was tremendously successful,” remarked Kyle Stevens, a WNDE audit supervisor who spearheaded the volunteer effort. “The Club leadership told us that it was one of the best events they have ever held and our group had a great time with the kids.”
WNDE Managing Partner David Doran indicated that the firm intends to continue to participate in such events. He explained, “Giving back to our community is important to the members of our firm. Our team members enjoyed the opportunity to interact with the children of the Club, and the smiles on the children’s faces was ample reward for their efforts.”
