White Nelson Diehl Evans LLP (“WNDE”) is pleased to announce that Paul Treinen is the firm’s new Managing Partner. Paul has assumed the top role from Dave Doran, who retired on December 31, 2017, after 42 years of service with the firm. WNDE is a mid-sized accounting firm headquartered in Irvine, representing over 3,000 businesses and 3,500 individual clients. The firm provides a full range of accounting, tax and advisory services to companies, non-profits and governmental agencies.

“Paul is a talented professional with many years of public accounting experience,” remarked Dave. “I can head into retirement knowing that the firm is in good hands.”

Paul joined WNDE in 1990, and became a partner in 2001. He is a tax and advisory services partner, a member of WNDE’s executive committee and handles executive leadership functions for the firm.

He earned a B.A. in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from California State University, Fullerton in 1989, and his CPA designation in 1992.

Paul specializes in corporate and pass-through taxation and has a very robust individual client base. Like most partners at WNDE, he has vast experience dealing with manufacturers and distributors. He also has a number of clients that are focused in hospitality, retail, real estate, senior care and aging services. Paul has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, transactional issues, business formations and strategic exit strategy planning.

He is a member of AICPA, CalCPA and the Pacific Club.
