WNDE is currently the 2nd largest accounting firm based in Orange County.

“WNDE’s steady growth over the past year is a reflection of the quality of our team, the strong market that our firm enjoys, and an improvement in the quality and range of services we offer our clients,” said Paul Treinen, WNDE’s managing partner.

The firm’s services were fairly evenly split between audit and tax related services, with 40% of its work being audit-related over the past year, and 50% tax. Advisory services represented 10% of the firm’s work effort. WNDE’s primary clients are privately held companies in the manufacturing, distribution, business and professional services, retail, and financial services sectors, along with nonprofit and government entities, and entrepreneurial and high net worth individuals.

The list indicated that WNDE had the largest increase in the number of CPAs over the past year, 17, for a total 31% increase in its number of CPAs to 72. WNDE employs the 2nd highest number of CPAs among Orange County-based firms. Paul noted that the high number of CPAs on staff, including a significant number of staff members having passed the CPA exam over the last year, is “a tribute to the quality of our team, and the firm’s commitment to ongoing training and development.”
