Annie Wu, CPA is a Senior Audit Manager at White Nelson Diehl Evans (WNDE). She began her career in accounting in 1996 and joined the WNDE team in 2017.

As Senior Audit Manager, Annie provides financial reporting and consulting services for not-for-profit, employee benefit plans and privately-held for-profit companies. She specializes in audits, reviews and compilations, employee benefit plan audits, single audits, and agreed-upon procedure audits. Annie’s client base varies; she primarily focuses on work with clients in the manufacturing, distribution, construction and not-for-profit industries.

Annie attended California State University, Fullerton, where she received a B.A. in Business Administration. In 1999, she earned her CPA designation in California. She is currently affiliated with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). She also has a strong commitment to the local community and currently sits on the Finance Committee of Girls, Inc. of Orange County. Annie shared “I love serving with like-minded individuals at Girls, Inc and supporting the organization’s mission of inspiring all girls to be strong, smart, and bold.”

Annie always wanted to pursue a career in business and believes accounting is an essential part of business operations, stating “Accounting helps management make financial decisions and provides useful information for investors.” With more than 20 years of experience in the industry, Annie has developed a personal philosophy of always serving with integrity. As a member of the WNDE team, she loves the growth potential and various opportunities available at the firm.

Inspired by the following quote by Bill Keane “Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift of God, which is why we call it the present,” Annie is reminded to be thankful for each morning. Born and raised in Los Angeles, she currently resides in Irvine, California with her husband and two children. Outside of the office she enjoys running, golfing, reading, and spending time with her family. Among Annie’s most notable achievements was making a hole-in-one during her first time playing on a golf course.
