Through a combination of proactive recruiting and M&A activities, White Nelson Diehl Evans has enjoyed steady growth throughout 2017.  The firm staff size has grown to nearly 150 professionals, making it one of the largest accounting firms based in Orange County.

“We’ve enjoyed steady growth throughout the year, bringing aboard quality people who are contributing much to the success of our firm,” said Paul Treinen, Managing Partner.

A significant component of that growth resulted from the integration of Zarrinkelk, Kashefipour & Co. (ZKCO) with WNDE.  ZKCO was, an accounting, tax and business advisory firm which was also located in Irvine.  Seven ZKCO staff members joined WNDE when the two firms came together.

“ZKCO is a respected firm in our industry, with a long history of providing high-quality tax, accounting, and financial consulting services to privately held businesses and high-net‑worth individuals,” continued Paul.  “We were excited to join forces because we believe that it allows our combined staff to continue to provide a wider array and a more in-depth level of services to a more expanded and diverse client base.”

WNDE also welcomed a new audit partner, Gary Crouch, who comes to WNDE from the Irvine accounting firm Link, Murrel & Company, along with three other auditors, Annie Wu, McKenna James, and William Drew.  Gary is a licensed CPA in both California and Louisiana, a chartered global management accountant and a certified fraud examiner.

Combined with ongoing recruiting efforts, a total of 25 came on board during the year, including 11 audit and tax juniors, two seniors, two supervisors, five managers, three partners and two administrators/bookkeepers.  Paul concluded, “As we head into the New Year, we’re excited about our expanded staff, and look forward to a bright future.”
